Ituens download processing file

I am using the latest iTunes x64 on Windows 7 x When app updates download from the iTunes store, it freezes when it gets to where it says "processing file" and never completes.

I tried using Ccleaner to clean empty junk off my compluter, ran a full disk defrag, and tried running iTunes as anmid, with the antivirus turned off, and the firewall turned off, but alas, it still keeps doing the same thing. I tried chancing allowing multiple downloads at once or only 1 at a time. I tried pausing and unpausing. I tried clearing the store cache. No hardware or software has been installed lately to chance anything on my PC. Yet, it keeps doing the same thing. I plan on trying to reinstall iTunes and see if that helps.

Anyone else noticing the same issue? Any solutions known that work? Posted on Dec 19, PM. Page content loaded. Dec 20, AM in response to m4t7h3w In response to m4t7h3w. I have the same problem This is very frustrating. None of my apps with update, and no new purchases will download!!

If anyone has come up with a way to resolve this issue, please post! Dec 20, AM. I have the same issue, but with the download of a simple music album.

Strangely, another person's itunes file shows up in my menu! There are quite a few people on the forums that are having this trouble, including me.

I saw that a few people had tried logging out of their Apple ID and then logging in again and then retrying the downloads. I have not yet tried this but will soon. Hope this helps! After that I manage to download one or two songs of the purchased album, then file processing gets stuck again and I cannot download anything else.
