Play through the story, run dungeons and raids, unlock mounts, collect minions, and experience everything the base game and first expansion have to offer.
After getting to level 50, and unlocking the new locations for the first expansion, you can unlock three new jobs: dark knight, astrologian, and machinist. Aside from chatting with other players in dungeons and raids, you can also join linkshells, or chat channels. There are a number of restrictions. As soon as you make the jump to the paid version of the game, these restrictions will go away.
